Photos, maps and listings of independent websites for vacation rentals. Locations and descriptions for some of the hotels and resorts are shown on the maps. Eleuthera is a 100 mile long island and has a number of quaint Bahamian towns such as Governor's Harbour, Gregory Town and Rock Sound. Excellent beachfront can be found up and down the island - places such as Palmetto Point and Winding Bay. The Glass Window Bridge is one of the "must sees" of Eleuthera. The best way to see the island is to rent a car.

Winding Bay Eleuthera

This web site is a photographic gallery of Winding Bay, Crown Point and Half Sound -- all on the island of Eleuthera near the town of Rock Sound. The web site is unique as it was mostly generated from a customized web module in Adobe's Lightroom photo development software. The gallery incorporates a robust javascript library for interacting with the photos. A Facebook "Like" button was also incorporated so each image and its URL could be shared.
